About this category
How does a gravity shelf work?
The shelf is set at a slight angle and fitted with rollers; when the front pack is taken, the next slides forward under its own weight. There is no spring or mechanism — only gravity.
Which products are unsuitable?
Soft bags, irregular bases and very light packs either do not slide or snag on the rollers. For those, a spring pusher is more reliable.
What shelf angle is needed?
Enough for the product to slide on its own, not so much that it pushes against the front stop. Heavier products need less angle; the right value is found by trial with the actual pack.
